De antenne gain van de GP95N en de GP98N is het zelfde.
De GP98N heeft wel een koppeling in het midden.
Voordeel is dat deze antenne makkelijker is te vervoeren.
The Comet GP98 / GP95 is a 3 band Base Colinear Antenna, fibreglass construction, and gives great performance on 2m/70cms and 23cms.
The GP98 / GP95 is the perfect antenna for tri-band operation. If used with the Comet CFX-431 type tri-plexer, then you can enjoy triplex communication.
The GP98 / GP95 uses the newly developed MPC (multi-pass converter system) for low loss, and maximum gain. Wideband coverage and no adjustment is necessary, VSWR is less than 1:1.5. Maximum power is rated at 300w, the base connector is an "N" type, and the mast requirements are between 30 - 62mm (clamps are included).
If you have not tried operation on these three bands before, the GP98 / GP95 is a great way to start, and is extremely easy to install and connect. Rigs like the Kenwood TS-2000, Icom IC-910, etc etc with 23cms options, are ideal for use with this antenna.
